Hiring Emily as my wedding photographer was one of the best decisions I made in 2025. I told her this multiple times on my wedding day—she truly was my brain. With so much happening and my thoughts pulled in a thousand directions, Emily kept me calm, grounded, and on schedule, even gently reminding me when I wandered off and forgot we had planned sunset photos or additional family photos.
She fit seamlessly into our wedding party and family; it genuinely felt like my best friend was taking our photos. Emily takes incredible pride in her work and has such a comforting presence that I never hesitated to ask her a million questions—and I trusted every suggestion she made. I was initially drawn to Emily’s photography because of how naturally she poses people, and our wedding photos exceeded every expectation. Every image feels effortless and authentic. Her ability to pose everyone—especially men, who can often look stiff or awkward—is remarkable. She truly makes everyone look their best. Emily is also immensely creative. Despite having bright, full sun for our entire wedding day, the
angles and lighting she chose made every photo look stunning. Her passion and drive for her craft are inspiring, and I feel honored to be a part of her work.
One of the greatest blessings came a few months later, when my grandfather passed away. Before the wedding, I had shared with Emily how important it was to me to have a large family photo with more than 20 people—something that brought me a lot of stress. She was not only willing to accommodate the request but also incredibly patient and kind while organizing and posing everyone, especially our older family members. She truly went above and beyond. That photo ended up being the last picture many of us took with my grandfather, and we were able to include it at his funeral. Today, it hangs in several family members’ homes. That moment—and that gift—would never have existed without Emily’s commitment to her art and her God-given talent. I will always be grateful that God brought Emily into my life, and I look forward to working with her again in the future.

Emily didn’t just feel like our photographer on our wedding day—she felt like a friend. Despite only having met once before for our engagement shoot, we were impressed at how calm we felt when Em arrived on the wedding day. She was extremely personable, joyful, and brought a calming, confident presence. She helped slow the entire day down and made it feel like we had hours to spend in every moment. There was never a rush—not once did we feel ushered to the next “photo op”—and I would pay for that experience alone again and again. My husband and I were able to be fully present, spending time with each other and the people most important to us. We truly owe this to Em, as she was organized, prepared, and had our shot list ready, removing any and all burden from us. On top of capturing our shot list with ease, Em suggested shots we never would have thought of, which have since become our favorite photos. Her organization, enthusiasm, creative eye, and shared joy truly added to our day.
On top of who Emily is as a person, her work is incredible. From framing and lighting to the posing and editing, our wedding photos are legitimately art. When we received our gallery, we genuinely felt like we were featured in a Vogue magazine—the angles, intentionality, and creativity in each photo are unreal!! And somehow, Em did it all while blending into the day so naturally that photography never felt like the focus—we were just living the moment and later realized we had been in a secret photoshoot. Her use of light and reflections is stunning, and her work looks beautiful in every setting. Our detail shots are now office art, first looks and vows are bedroom statement pieces, and our wedding photobook feels like watching the entire day back on video.
Booking Em and investing in the storytelling of our wedding day was one of the best decisions we made during the wedding planning journey (and it is a journey;). Between who Emily is as a person and the talent God has given her behind the camera, we truly can’t recommend her enough.

“Emily is so incredibly gifted in capturing love between two people! She collaborated with my husband to capture the surprise proposal in the most authentic way. We did an engagement shoot right after he proposed and I've never felt more comfortable in front of a camera in my life!
