I am SO glad you are here. You have no idea how excited I am at the thought of working with you, and most of all, gaining a new friend! One of my favorite things about photography, and part of why I do it, is getting to know each and every client not just as a business partner but also as a confidant, sister, wing-woman.
The journey you’re on to get wherever you need to, whether that’s down the aisle, across the stage, or into a new chapter of life, you can count on me to help you remember those memories and document those stories forever. Though I currently reside in MINNESOTA, my bags are packed and ready to go anywhere you need me to. There is beauty in everything, including you. "Emily didn’t just feel like our photographer on our wedding day—she felt like a friend. Despite only having met once before for our engagement shoot, we were impressed at how calm we felt when Em arrived on the wedding day. She was extremely personable, joyful, and brought a calming, confident presence. She helped slow the entire day down and made it feel like we had hours to spend in every moment. There was never a rush—not once did we feel ushered to the next “photo op”—and I would pay for that experience alone again and again. My husband and I were able to be fully present, spending time with each other and the people most important to us. We truly owe this to Em, as she was organized, prepared, and had our shot list ready, removing any and all burden from us. On top of capturing our shot list with ease, Em suggested shots we never would have thought of, which have since become our favorite photos. Her organization, enthusiasm, creative eye, and shared joy truly added to our day.
On top of who Emily is as a person, her work is incredible. From framing and lighting to the posing and editing, our wedding photos are legitimately art. When we received our gallery, we genuinely felt like we were featured in a Vogue magazine—the angles, intentionality, and creativity in each photo are unreal!! And somehow, Em did it all while blending into the day so naturally that photography never felt like the focus—we were just living the moment and later realized we had been in a secret photoshoot. Her use of light and reflections is stunning, and her work looks beautiful in every setting. Our detail shots are now office art, first looks and vows are bedroom statement pieces, and our wedding photobook feels like watching the entire day back on video.
Booking Em and investing in the storytelling of our wedding day was one of the best decisions we made during the wedding planning journey (and it is a journey;). Between who Emily is as a person and the talent God has given her behind the camera, we truly can’t recommend her enough.”
